Au Bon Pain @Bumrungrad Building A is a convenient café spot tucked into the ground floor of Bumrungrad Hospital's Building A. It serves as a quiet retreat for hospital visitors, staff, and anyone passing through the busy medical complex looking for a reliable coffee break or a light meal.

The atmosphere is functional and clean, reflecting its location within a hospital environment. Seating is straightforward, designed for quick stops rather than lingering afternoons, which fits well for those grabbing a bite between appointments or during a short work break. The café tends to attract a steady local crowd in the mornings, including medical professionals and visitors, making early hours a practical time to avoid queues.

Au Bon Pain’s menu offers a mix of bakery items and light meals that lean toward health-conscious choices, something appreciated by its regulars who often seek something fresh but not heavy. Standouts include the pesto chicken sandwich and various bagels, like the cream cheese with smoked ham, which come up often in positive mentions. The almond croissant and a banana cake (เค้กกล้วยหอม) are favored among those craving a sweet bakery fix, while the cold-pressed juices provide a fresh complement to the food selection.

Coffee here holds a steady, no-nonsense quality. Options range from hot Americanos to cappuccinos, though opinions suggest the coffee basics are reliable rather than exceptional. The café also offers soy milk for those wanting a dairy alternative. Service is generally efficient, with food prep times around 15–20 minutes for made-to-order items. A small note for visitors: while the bakery selection is generous, some have noticed that the bread tongs could be attended to more carefully in terms of hygiene.

Overall, Au Bon Pain works best as a practical, accessible café for a quick coffee, a light but satisfying sandwich, or a simple salad within the hospital setting. It suits visitors who want a clean, straightforward spot without fuss, particularly during morning hours or in between hospital visits. Those seeking a quiet place to recharge with a snack, or hospital staff needing a break, will find it meets these needs well.

Famous bakery branch of Thailand in Bamrungard Hospital Building A ground Floor. The fancy looking banner caught out eyes so went there to get out breakfast. Even though it's a bakery we didn't order any baked items mostly curry dish and salads. Most of the foods are healthy foods with lots of Vegs on it. We ordered 6 items and it took them about 20 minutes. The food was great in my opinion not so masala and spicy curry which we used to as south Asian. Though we adult found all the dishes kinda tasty. But the kids In our house didn't agree though it was expected since the dish were healthy dishes and they were kids.

A good place to catch a coffee and snacks in the hospital! Very clean and has all the options of food for vegetarians and non veg. They have offers for coffee + food which is great. The place is relatively clean and service for food is quick if you ask for something to be heated or place an order. The bakery section has a lot of variety which is great but the tongs are not sanitized which is where they lose points. Coffee was good. Not something to rave about but as I said good to grab a good coffee and snack so enjoy.
